for Sighting New-Moon

Saturday, May 27, 2006 - 29th Rabi-us-Sani 1427 H.
As'salamu alaikum,
Astronomical New Moon is on Saturday the 27th of May 2006
i.e. 29th of Rabi-us-Sani
1427 H. Members of our community and especially the "Shahideen" are
hereby requested to try to sight the Hilal
around Sunset (Maghrib) and report us on the telephone

Announcement for
the month of Jamadi-ul-Awwal

Assalaamu
alaikum,
Our Shahideen, who tried to sight
the Crescent for the month of Jamadi-ul-Awwal, could not
unfortunately sight it. After examining the various reports of moon
sighting from other sources it is hereby informed that the 1st of
Jamadi-ul-Awwal was on Sunday the 28th of May 2006. As such the Milad of
Imamuna Mahdi, the Promised SAS (i.e.14th of Jamadi-ul-Awwal) will fall
on Saturday the 10th of June 2006.
