Mahdavia Islamic Center of Chicago hosted the Milad
events on two days June 4th and June 10th
(14th Jamadi-ul Awwal). Both the events were attended
by a large number of community members, who came along with
their families, from far off places.
The June 4th event was a youth program
coordinated by Mr. Jawad Ali Khan in which Children and Youth of
our community participated. Eleven students from various grade
levels participated in this program with lots of enthusiasm.
This program concluded with the speech of Hazrat Abulfatah Syed
Nusrat Sahab Qibla Tashrifullahi.
The second event was held on June 10th (14th
Jamadi-al-Awwal) after Maghrib prayer. The program started with
the recitation of Qur’an by Hafiz Syed Khundmir Sirajuddin,
followed by a speech in English by Mr. Jawad Ali Khan
highlighting the mode of living of the seekers of God in the
Mahdavia Dairas. Mr.
Rahmet Ali Khan, President MICC, presented a brief life sketch
of Imamuna Mahdi al-Ma’ud AS and his great moral
excellence. Mr. Parvez Yadullah Mehdi presented a highly
informative Naat from his newly released poetry book. Peer O
Murshid Hazrath Abulfatah Syed Nusrat Sahab Qibla gave the proof
of the advent of Mahdi from Qur’anic verses. He also gave
references from Old and New Testament about the signs for the
advent of the future Messenger of God, Muhammad SAS
as well as the Caliph of God, the Promised Mahdi AS.
The program came to close with the vote of thanks by Dr. Syed
Khaled Lateef, Gen. Secretary, MICC, followed by Isha Prayer and
Tasbeeh.
