Al Ma’ud AS Celebrations, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

On
Thursday,
the 15th of June, 2006
Jashn-e-Milad-e-Mehdi-e-Ma’ud AS was
celebrated in
Jeddah
,
Saudi Arabia
, at
the residence of Mr. Syed Ali Hussain Tarsees s/o Late Syed
Hameed Shahmim Nusrati (former
President Idara Tableegh-e-Mehdavia, Musheerabad). For the first
time such a large gathering of Mahdavis has been reported in
this part of the world with the exception of the annual
gatherings for Dugana-e- Lailatul Qadr. Apart from Jeddah people
from far off places such as Makkah,
Riyadh
and
Damman came to attend this auspicious occasion.
The Meeting started at 9.00 P.M after the Isha Prayers
with the recitation of Holy Qur’an by Qari Syed Ataullah
Mujahid, Mr. S. M. Quayyum Nizami briefly spoke about the birth
and early life of Imamuna Mehdi Ma’ud AS, Mr.
Mohammad Nusrat Sayeed in his speech covered the topic of the
proof of the Promised Community as mentioned in the Surah Al
Ma’eda. Mr. Syed
Ataullah Mujahid spoke about the Blessed
Community and the Importance
& Status of
Imamuna
AS
as mentioned
in the Hadith of Mishkat-e-Shareef “How
my Ummah will perish, when I am at its beginning, Esa
ibn-e-Maryam at the end and Mehdi from my progeny is in the
middle.”
Mr. Taher
Mohammad especially came from Dammam to attend this meeting,
apart from covering many topics in his speech, highlighted the
theme of Iqteda (following the Imam in prayer) . The meeting
came to an end with the speech of Mr. Syed Shafi Mahdi.
Mr. Mohammed
Fazl-e-Kareem Jaweed thanked the all the participants who
attended the meeting and made it a grand success.
