Mahdavia Islamic Center of Chicago is pleased to offer three scholarships of $2,500 each to the students of Mahdavia community to assist them and their families in achieving their educational goals. Students who are pursuing a higher education degree in Journalism, Political Science, or Law are encouraged to apply for Nazar Mohammed Khan Educational Scholarship. This is available to those attending an accredited university/college in United States for the year 2009-2010.
The scholarship is based on applicant's interest in pursuing a career in one of the above mentioned fields. Student’s progress report and a letter of recommendation from the last attended school are required. Selection will be made by MICC Executive committee according to rules and regulations framed by the board of directors.

Last date to submit application form is August 31, 2009. Applications must be submitted either in person or by mail to the office of MICC.
