Shab-e-Meraj is on the night between 26/27 of Rajab.

In the USA and Canada Shab-e-Meraj is on the night between Sunday/Monday-

i.e Night of 19th July, 2009.


In Australia, India and Pakistan Shab-e-Meeraj is on the night between Monday/Tuesday- i.e. Night of 20th July, 2009.


Fasting on the day before and the day after the night or just after the night (Shab-e-Meraj) are rewarding but not obligatory.
