Presently Channapatna is one of the most vibrant centers of Mahdavia community. There are about twenty plus active Dairas of the Mahdavia community and also various institutions and schools. There are two Haziras in Channapatna, Chota Hazira and Bada Hazira.

Channapatna is about 60 Kms South West of Banglore, about 40 kms before Kirgawal, Mandya on Banglore-Mysore Road. It is well connected with Road and Train and can be reached within a hours time from Banglore.
There is frequent Local Train and Bus service from Banglore as well as Mysore to Channapatna.
Night Stop:
Given the number of Mahdavia Dairas and institutions, night stop is not a problem for the Pilgrims who intend to visit Channapatna and beyond to Kirgaval.

Presently Channapatna is one of most (populated) area of Mehdaviya community. There are about 20 mosque of mehadavia.There are lot of people staying in Daire channapatna..

Gulbarga is well connected by Train and Bus Service. It is located 600kms North of state capital Banglore and 200 kms West of neighboring state capital of Hyderabad. Gulbrga is 580 kms South East of Mumbai (Bombay).
Bus Service: Hourly Bus service from Hyderabad to and from Gulbarga.
Train Service:
Express Trains from most of the Southern States to and from Bombay stop at Gulbarga.

Lodging fecility is available within and nearby the Darga complex of Hazrat Khaja Bandana Nawaz RH. Decent Hotels are also available near the Railway Station and Central Bus Stand.
Please Note: Dargas of Hazrat Shaikh Sirajuddin RH and Hazrat Ruknuddin Dualah RH are on the same road about 20-25 kms from Darga of Hazrat Khaja Banda Nawaz RH on the other side of Gulbarga.

Kirgaval is about 40 kms from Channapatna and 100 kms South West of Banglore on Banglore-Mysore Road. It is well connected with Bus service from Banglore , Channapatna and Mysore also travel by road is not a problem.

There are a few active Dairas and significant Mahdavia population in Kirgaval presently we do not have specific information for night stop.

Mashallah we have madresas and also 9 masjid's for night stay.
