أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَٰتٍ ۚ فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُۥ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ ۖ فَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُۥ ۚ وَأَن تَصُومُوا۟ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ ۖ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
[Fasting for] a limited number of days. So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] – then an equal number of days [are to be made up]. And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] – a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day]. And whoever volunteers excess – it is better for him. But to fast is best for you, if you only knew.
Surah Baqarah Ayat 184

Hz. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah ^PBUH said:
‏إِذَا دَخَلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ فُتِّحَتْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ وَغُلِّقَتْ أَبْوَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَسُلْسِلَتِ الشَّيَاطِين‏
When the month of Ramadan begins, the gates of the heaven are opened, the gates of Hellfire are closed, and the devils are chained.

Imam Mahdi, The Promised ^PBUH is narrated to have been travelng when he sat down at a place and looked back.He saw that the fuqara (indigent seekers of Allah) were comming and they were in great misery and were hungry.The Imam ^PBUH said,”What is the need for them to follow this servant (banda) of Allah in all this misery and penury.”Then again he said ,”Their objective is Allah.They are taking all this trouble for the sake of Alah and following this servant (banda) of Allah.They are the true seekers of Allah.May He bless them with His vission.”

Ameer-Ul-Muminin Hazrath Ali -Ul Murtuza ^Rz. ne farmaya ke’Do tarah se cheezein dekhne mein choti nazar aati hein, Ek door se aur doosra gharoor se.”
