إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ
Indeed, We sent the Qur’an down during the Night of Decree. And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.
Surah Al Qadr

Hz. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah ^PBUH said:
‏إِذَا دَخَلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ فُتِّحَتْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ وَغُلِّقَتْ أَبْوَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَسُلْسِلَتِ الشَّيَاطِين‏
When the month of Ramadan begins, the gates of the heaven are opened, the gates of Hellfire are closed, and the devils are chained.

Hazrath Imam Mahdi ^PBUH is narrated to have said that-When you intend to buy a mud pot on payment of money,you repeatedly strike it to find how it sounds.If the sound is good and proper and the pot appears to be good too,you buy it. Otherwise you reject it.You claim to be seekers of Allah,how can you be let off without testing you?

Ameer-Ul-Muminin Hazrat Ali ^Rz. ne farmaya Ke- “Mujhe iss duniya se kya lena, jis ke halaal mein hisaab aur haram main azaab hai.”
