Allazeena amanoo watatmainnu quloobuhum bizikri Allahi ala bizikri Allahi tatmainnu alquloobu.
Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah: for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.
Surah Rad 28 Quran

Hazrath Abdullah ibn Mughaffal ^Rz. narrated:The Prophet,^PBUH said that- “Allah is compassionate and loves compassion. He gives for compassion what He does not give for harshness.” -(Sahih Bukhari)

Hazrath Imam Mahdi ^PBUH is narrated to have said that-” The nature of some of the aulia (saints or freinds of Allah) is like that of the scorpions and snakes, because if someone tries to hurt or trouble them, they immediately bite such people.Some saints were such that they would curse those that troubled them.But the apostles and perfect saints were like the fish. When somebody troubles the fish . it moves away and does not trouble the person who troubles it.Similarly the apostles and perfect saints endure the trouble.They even forgive and seek the salvation of those of those who trouble them.”

Hazrat Ali -ul Murtuza ^Rz.said that: “The Word of God is the medicine of the heart.”
